Our Origins

The CCGP was formed on September 1st of 2007, to bring together the ILGP locals that were operating within Cook County, Illinois. The About Us page gives a quick overview of the party's goal and structure.

Current Activites

  • Identifying candidates to be slated by the Green Party. The deadline for this is April 7th, but candidates need to get the endorsement of the Green Party Locals in their area before they can be slated.
  • The Central Committee will be meeting on the 5th and 8th of March to slate candidates.
