The Cook County Green Party has made no decision regarding recognition or endorsement of any candidate for mayor or alderman in Chicago.

We intend to give fair consideration to any candidate who is interested in receiving recognition as a Green Party supported candidate. The Cook County Locals Council will be holding an open meeting for interviewing candidates. Candidates who are interested in being considered should contact:

Our Origins
The CCGP was formed on September 1st of 2007, to bring together the ILGP locals that were operating within Cook County, Illinois. The About Us page gives a quick overview of the party's goal and structure.
